01Where You Start

Three Ways to Begin

Most custom manufacturers want a finished drawing. We start wherever you are, including from nothing but the problem.

Fastest route

You Have a Drawing

CAD file or 2D drawing with dimensions and tolerances. We review it for manufacturability, recommend the process and compound, and quote, including tooling.

Most common

You Have a Sample

A physical part, even worn, damaged, or incomplete. We reverse-engineer it: profile, dimensions, hardness, and compound analysis, then reproduce it.

Full engineering

You Have an Idea

A problem to solve: sealing, isolating, absorbing, protecting. Our engineers work with you from function to design, application first, part second.

02Manufacturing Processes

Four Processes. One Factory.

01

Compression Molding

The workhorse for larger parts, high-durometer compounds, and low-to-medium volumes, including parts with metal inserts and bonded components.

02

Transfer & Injection Molding

Precision molding for tight-tolerance, intricate geometries and higher volumes: consistent dimensions part after part.

03

Extrusion & Profiling

Continuous profiles, tubing, cords, and custom cross-sections, cut to length in your specified compound and hardness.

04

Die Cutting & Fabrication

Gaskets and flat parts cut from sheet to any 2D shape: fast, tooling-light, and ideal for prototypes and small batches.

The Right Rubber for the Job

The compound decides whether your part survives temperature, chemicals, load, and time. We formulate and mix in-house, matched to your application, not whichever polymer is on hand.

Natural Rubber

Dynamic load & resilience

Nitrile (NBR)

Oil & fuel resistance

EPDM

Weather, ozone & steam

Neoprene

Balanced all-round performance

Silicone

Extreme temps & food grade

Viton (FKM)

Aggressive chemicals & fuels

Polyurethane

Abrasion & high load

SBR

Impact & abrasion wear parts

FAQ

Custom Manufacturing, Answered

Can you make a rubber part from just a physical sample?

Yes, this is one of our most common requests. Send the part, even if it's worn or damaged. We measure its geometry, test its hardness, and identify a matching compound, then produce a sample for your approval before the batch runs. Original drawings are helpful but never required.

How much does custom tooling cost?

Tooling cost depends on part size, geometry complexity, and the molding process required. Simple cut parts need no tooling at all; molded parts require a mold, which is quoted up front and typically amortizes quickly across production runs. We always separate tooling cost from piece price in our quotes, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

What materials can you mold?

Natural rubber, NBR, EPDM, neoprene, silicone (including food-grade), Viton/FKM, polyurethane, and SBR, over 15 compound formulations in-house. We match the compound to your application's temperature range, chemical exposure, load, and regulatory requirements.

What's the minimum order for custom parts?

Custom parts are quoted to your quantity. We regularly produce prototypes, pilot runs, and small batches alongside full production volumes. See our low MOQ manufacturing page for how we handle small orders.

Do you provide samples before production?

Yes. For new custom parts we produce a sample for your approval before the production batch runs. What you approve (dimensions, hardness, compound, finish) is what you receive.

Can you bond rubber to metal?

Yes. We produce rubber-to-metal bonded components including bushings, mounts, and inserts, using proven bonding agents and surface preparation for adhesion that outlasts the application.
